Holy MAN. I never update this bloody thing.

SOOOO much stuff to work on. First on the list being the choreography for "Beauty and the Beast." Second being to work on my Synthetic Angel character. She's coming along. Kinda. O.o

My to-do list to finish by February:

So, a bit of a life update, considering how little I actually update this journal...which is even less than my Livejournal, and that hadn't been updated since May 9th. Yikes.

So, I graduated from college. WOOT. So, now I'm the proud holder of a bachelor's degree in English language and literature. And therefore...I'm a waitress at Applebees. *lol* I actually went through a few odd jobs that didn't quite work out before Mattie got me an interview at Applebees, and I'm actually quite pleased with this one so far. I'm working with a bunch of people I already knew and liked, so that takes off the stress of hoping my coworkers are douches. ^_^

I'm also attempting to get a start on some serious writing, though that is a bit harder than it looks. My aunt gave me a massive desk for my birthday this year that was too unwieldy to take downstairs, so I have to have my computer in the sitting room. I just can't write there; I constantly have family roaming about, plus the tv is ALWAYS on, so its far too easy to get distracted. I need to move out real bad.

Rosalyn and I have been getting real heavy into ren faires this season too. I've started up an official pirate ship called the Amazon, full of nothing but women. ^_^ We're officially members of the Brethren of the Great Lakes as well, and have already won the favor of the Pirate Lords of Erie, Michigan, and Superior. Go us! XD

I also managed to land another prize at the ren faires; my boyfriend, Dave. It's nice to have a guy that actually appreciates me; quite the change from what I'm used to.

And now....I'm off to play Halo with said Dave. He thinks he's going to win. Vair cute.

Originally thought to be due this week:

- Six-page paper on James' The Portrait of a Lady
- Seven-page paper on the above novel and Eliot's poem of the same title
- Seven-page paper on Jonson's "Volpone"



...turns out, only the second one is due this week. I almost cried. XD

Again...this is why I do absolutely NOTHING for my own enjoyment...

- Read James' The Portrait of a Lady.
- Read Jonson's "Volpone."
- Read Thoreau's Walden (I'd really prefer soldering irons shoved into my eyes...).
- Read...well...a whole crapload of Eliot poetry.
- Memorize a map of South and Middle America for a quiz on Tuesday.
- Write a paper on whether the Haitian and American Revolutions were truly revolutions.


...did I mention that I have to do all of this by Thursday?
